Strictly avoid UV light, heat, and color contact. White latex is highly susceptible to discoloration. It must be stored completely isolated from dark or brightly colored latex (especially black or red), heat, and any UV light. Only clean white pieces with non-staining, approved latex cleaner, and ensure they are 100% dry and powdered before storing in an opaque bag.
The shoulders and bust/chest area. The garment must stretch significantly over these points, especially if it's a tight-fitting tunic or dress. Apply a generous amount of silicone dressing aid (lube) or talcum powder to the interior, concentrating on the shoulder seams and any areas that are zipped or buttoned, to minimize stress.
Handle accessories separately and gently. Headpieces often contain metal clips or cardboard/plastic components, which must be kept away from water and metal contact must be isolated. Clean small items like cuffs and collars separately with mild latex soap, never pull or stretch the delicate piping, and allow them to air dry completely on a flat surface.
Store 100% dry, hung, and separate components. Hang the main garment on a wide, padded, non-metal hanger. All white pieces (aprons, headbands) and metal components must be isolated and stored in individual, opaque storage bags away from light and heat to prevent staining and degradation.
